Overview

Mǎlē̂ Faw̄ä Ni̋ēkēä was founded durring the late 15th century in fall of the year 1394, by Mb̪fē̌ Gaw̋chīy 'Brandi Violet' Jóchī Yoī́̄y Vú̄kīs Jōki̋ch Joīkīkī. The establishment of Mǎlē̂ Faw̄ä Ni̋ēkēä was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Mǎlē̂ Faw̄ä Ni̋ēkēä's construction back out of the project. Mb̪fē̌ Gaw̋chīy 'Brandi Violet' Jóchī Yoī́̄y Vú̄kīs Jōki̋ch Joīkīkī pushed on reguardles, and Mǎlē̂ Faw̄ä Ni̋ēkēä was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Mǎlē̂ Faw̄ä Ni̋ēkēä was built using the conventions of Goblin durring the late 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Mǎlē̂ Faw̄ä Ni̋ēkēä is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Mǎlē̂ Faw̄ä Ni̋ēkēä is buildings are arranged arrounded highly ordered system of narrow canals streets which form octogonal paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The city rests behind a thick wall made from clay bricks. The wall has all of the proper fortifications and is well made. Unfortuantly the nature of clay brick leaves it quite vulnerable to siege equipment, though the thickness of the wall lends it simmilar resistnace to a thinner hardrock wall. Unfortuantly, these millitarily questionable fortifications are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.

Mǎlē̂ Faw̄ä Ni̋ēkēä has the unmistakable air of a city on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Mǎlē̂ Faw̄ä Ni̋ēkēä ’s existence was once fed by scholarly pursuits. But the income once drawn in by the works of scribes and academics has dried up and the city is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up. Everywhere about the city one can see abandoned schools, libraries, and other academic structures. Locals can be overheard having academic discussions, as well as talking about scholarly subjects in general. It’s quite clear the city places a lot of value on education and being a learned individual. Even in these times.

Walls, ceilings and moldings are decorated with numerous interlacing of curves and counter-curves based on the shapes of ‘C’ and ‘S’, along with shell forms and other naturalistic shapes.
